Latch is reversible via a small rectangular slot on back of case opposite side to what is pictured,

simply use a small flat blade screwdriver and press in with a small amount of pressure whilst pulling on the latch bolt itself

then refit and push latch in firmly, a click will be heard, these instructions are labeled on the front of the gearbox
